  ZERO STAR, Avoid this car yard at all costs as your used car statutory warranty in non existent at this place. From day one i got my Toyota the remote keypad to the doors didn't work, had the batteries changed which did nothing to fix the issue, also noticed a strange noise coming from the engine so i decided to drive to my local Toyota dealership the next day to have the car inspected properly, car was diagnosed & was told that the remote keypad was faulty & would have to be replaced & that the drive belt tensioner was also faulty & no longer holding proper tension & was advised to have it changed asap as there was a high possibility that the drive belt would come off due to the faulty tensioner & if the belt did come off, the engine would stall. Rang the salesman who sold me the car to let him know & was told to bring it in as he would have his mechanics inspect it for me. As its a one hour trip for me to get to the car yard i took a day off work only to arrive at the car yard to be told this is not a warranty issue as its a wear & tear item like a set of tyres??? what a poor excuse, isn't a set of worn tyres part of the RWC??? I explained to the salesman that i had the car inspected by Toyota & that they had diagnosed it identifying the tensioner as faulty & not of RWC standard & he didn't care, i then mentioned that i had downloaded the statutory used car policy & that i should be covered, the salesman just turned like a wild animal & started verbally abusing me & swearing threatening me to leave, feeling intimidated & unsafe i left without saying another word. So now i'm stuck with the repairs even though i have a used car warranty & most importantly the RWC hasn't elapsed yet as it's only been a couple of weeks since it was issued. This would have to be rudest most unprofessional salesman i have met & no one needs to be treated the way i was especially when he was so nice & happy at taking my money. Totally defies the purpose of buying a used car through a car yard!!! Stay clear unless you want to purchase a car with a dodgy RWC. AVOID Shady Town.
